The Disability Travel Card is for people of all types of permanent disabilities who require the assistance of a support person when travelling with VIA Rail Canada, Greyhound Canada, Coach Canada, and Ontario Northland.
When a cardholder presents the Disability Travel Card when purchasing a ticket for travel with one of our participating partners, one support person can accompany them at a reduced fare. The Disability Travel Card holder pays regular ticket price.
Effective October 31, 2018, Greyhound Bus lines has permanently suspended operations in all four western Canada provinces – BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. A handful of independent bus lines are attempting to fill in the gaps left by this Greyhound closure, however, it will take some months for these service providers to determine the sustainability of the routes. Until further notice, no relationship between a bus service operating in western Canada and Easter Seals Canada will exist. Easter Seals Canada will endeavor to stay abreast of all opportunities for partnerships and will post any/all relevant information regarding partnerships on this website. Greyhound Bus lines will continue to honor the Disability Travel Card, as usual, on their remaining existing routes. Thank you for your understanding.
