Cineplex honoured with 2020 Easter Seals Patron Award - Easter Seals Canada

Media Release / Web Announcement

Easter Seals Canada is pleased to present its 2020 Patron Award to Cineplex. The Patron Award is the highest honour that Easter Seals Canada bestows to an organization that has provided long-term financial support for its work, and demonstrated an unwavering shared commitment to Easter Seals’ vision and mission across the country.

Cineplex was one of the core founding Venue Partners of Easter Seals’ award-winning Access 2 Card Program when it was established in 2004. The support of Cineplex has helped drive the growth of the Access 2 program over the years by making going to the movies more accessible, inclusive and affordable each year for tens of thousands of people living with permanent disabilities.

In addition, in 2017 and 2019, Cineplex generously donated screen time at its theatres across the country for public service announcements (PSAs) from Easter Seals, enabling us to raise visibility and awareness of Easter Seals among scores of movie goers.

Thank you and congratulations, Cineplex!
