#UnstoppABLE Paper Egg Campaign

Each Spring, Canadians can show their support for Easter Seals by purchasing Easter Seals Paper Eggs at the cashier or customer service desk at participating stores and retail locations across Canada. Donations raised during this eggs-citing campaign help funds Easter Seals programs and services in support of Canadians living with disabilities across the country.

The Drop Zone Challenge

Look up, look way up! The Drop Zone is a series of knee-shaking, heart-racing, adrenaline-pumping events that is held in multiple cities across Canada each year. Participants sign-up and fundraise to become superheros for a day by rappelling off a towering high-rise building – all in support of Canadians living with disabilities.

Red Shirt Day

Red Shirt Day of Action for Accessibility and Inclusion is an Easter Seals initiative to raise awareness and promote dialogue about accessibility and inclusion of people living with disabilities. Taking place on Wednesday during National AccessAbility Week each year, Canadians can show their support for people who are living with disabilities, accessibility and inclusion by wearing red on Red Shirt Day.

Heritage For All

Heritage for All is a research project aimed at eliminating physical barriers to Canada’s heritage buildings, as well as informing and advancing future national accessibility standards for federally-owned heritage buildings. Led by Human Space, with funding from Accessibility Standards Canada, and in partnership with Easter Seals Canada, the KITE Research Institute, The Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals, Canadian Disability Foundation, Phil Goldsmith Architect and National Trust for Canada.

The Reimagine Employability Campaign

Easter Seals’ Reimagine Employability Campaign aims to promote more inclusive and accessible hiring practices and workplaces – an issue that people with disabilities have long advocated for. The ability of many companies in pivoting to work-from-home set-ups as a response to COVID-19 shows that alternative work practices are possible.
