Easter Seals Awards - Easter Seals Canada

EASTER SEALS AWARDS

Each year, Easter Seals Canada bestows a number of different awards to recognize and honour the contributions of various partners, community leaders and volunteers who have demonstrated outstanding support of Easter Seals’ mission and work across the country; and for demonstrating leadership and commitment to the advancement of accessibility and inclusivity issues in Canada.

PATRON AWARD

Easter Seals recognizes the critical role and valuable contributions of its partners in enabling and supporting the organization. The annual Patron Award is the highest honour that Easter Seals bestows to an organization that has provided Easter Seals with long-term financial support for its work, and demonstrated an unwavering shared commitment to Easter Seals’ vision and mission across the country.

2022 Patron Award winner: We Care

It is with great pleasure and deep gratitude that Easter Seals Canada announces We Care as the recipient of the 2022 Patron Award in recognition of its decades of support of our programs across Canada. Easter Seals Patron Award recipients demonstrate unwavering dedication to the advancement of accessibility and inclusivity issues in Canada.

Since 1983, We Care and its network of Member Sponsors organize numerous events and activities across Canada to raise funds to send kids with disabilities to Easter Seals’ accessible and inclusive summer camps so that they can enjoy the outdoors, in addition to building skills, cultivating friendships, and creating memories that will last them a lifetime. To date, We Care has raised over $25.5M for Easter Seals camps.

Thank you and congratulations, We Care!
