Easter Seals Paper Egg 2014 Egg-cels!

Wow Canada! Thank you for helping to take the ‘dis’ out of disability one paper egg at a time! By signing your name to a simple paper egg and purchasing eggs online, you have made a difference in the lives of Canadian families living with disabilities!

National Sponsor, National Red Apple Stores Inc. raised an astonishing $103,707 through loyal customer support. Funds are still coming in thanks to the company’s coin box program which ends late in May. National Red Apple Stores Inc. has been the Paper Egg’s top fundraising sponsor since it began the campaign, raising more than $1 million overall since 2007!

Booster Juice celebrated a record breaking year, raising $65,000! That brings the total raised since they started four years ago to more than $200,000! They also gave us some lovely social media love during the campaign. Thank you Booster Juice and customers!

The nationwide Easter Seals Paper Egg campaign got underway on March 24th during March is Easter Seals Month and wrapped up on Easter day.

National Red Apple Stores Inc. and Booster Juice, and many regional and local sponsors sold colourful Easter Seals Paper Eggs for $2 to customers, and placed them on their store windows and walls. Paper Egg sales support Easter Seals programs and services that include active living opportunities and the provision of mobility and adaptive equipment for Canadians with disabilities.

Since the launch of the program in 2000, the campaign has raised $6.5 million for Easter Seals. Last year alone, Paper Egg participating partners collectively raised $822,466.
